Learn to tell stories boldly!

Natalie Greenroyd knows the frustrations that go along with the desire to create images of your family that speak not only to the parent in you, but to the artist in you as well. She’s been in the “boring image” trenches and has emerged on the other side, ready to equip you with the tools you need to find your moxie and create the type of images you never imagined you were capable of. With these tools in your pocket, you will learn how to push boundaries, shoot boldly and create pieces of art that depict your everyday honestly and authentically. Natalie will guide and encourage you as you learn how to incorporate elements into your photos that you didn’t even realize were missing. Learn how to bust through ruts using what you’ve learned about different elements such as light, emotion, perspectives and special photography tricks (like using prisms, freelensing, the ring of fire, multiple exposures, and more!!), just to name a few. No piece of the creative process is left untouched.

about your presenter

Natalie Greenroyd lives in Oklahoma with her two rambunctious boys and firefighting husband who runs from her camera as fast as he runs into burning buildings. When she’s not homeschooling her boys, she can be found chasing big Oklahoma skies, interesting light and storytelling shadows with her camera in hand.

Shot with Moxie has made me want to pick up my camera every day and look at my daily world through “moxie goggles”. It has motivated me to pay closer attention to lighting and composition and to experiment with various manual settings. While the breakout is a short class, it has made a big impact on my photography! Thank you, Natalie!

I’ve purchased quite a few Clickin’ Moms breakouts and I have to say, by far, this has been the best one yet. I’ve been in a rut lately due to the loooong and brutal Michigan winter, but after completing the breakout, I was SO excited to shoot again, equipped with new creative techniques and a ton of inspiration to document our everyday moments courtesy of Natalie. You can tell she put her heart and soul into every bit of this. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve just started this breakout and am loving how the material is presented. This is exactly what I need to help me choose shots with thought and intention, set up shots for specific effect, and be more aware of my own strengths and style. ( all while working with mostly uncooperative, active kiddos)
