This breakout has been a breath of fresh air! I can honestly say that this is my favorite so far and I have taken A LOT of breakouts. I am very comfortable shooting in manual and using LR + Photoshop. She gives you lots of new fresh tips for creative crops, light and interactions. If you do Lifestyle professional or just around you house you don’t want to miss this breakout.

I LOVED this breakout. I love lifestyle photography but needed a little push and insight on ways to incorporate that style into my own work. The material in this breakout gave me a game plan on how to connect with clients, evaluate their home and to genuinely engage with them. I loved walking through a live shoot and really see, from the photographer’s eyes, how to look at light and to make it work for your shoot. I also liked being reminded to capture LIFE – as it is, in all it’s honesty. One of my favorite breakouts to date from Clickin’ Moms!

I am yeah primarily a classic portrait shooter but do a lot of lifestyle at my pre k job. I am very comfortable shooting in manual in a varIety of settings but I have little experience – although some- with a family life style session in a clients home. I also love shooting indoors. Danielle’s videos show both how she prepares viewing a home (hers and a clients)on a video and it’s such a great visual tool considering most of us are visual. The materials also are full of great tips, tools and strategies for before, during and after a lifestyle shoot. It was well worth the price and I feel inspired to add some family lifestyle shooting to my winter months.

Thank you Danielle for a great breakout- a Post season Christmas treat for myself;))

This is a wonderful breakout! Even though I haven’t started doing sessions with families other than my own, I learned so much that I can apply when taking photos of my own children now. Before this breakout, I wasn’t very familiar with lifestyle photography. Danielle does a wonderful job explaining her approach in the pdf and videos (before, during, and after the sessions). There is a wealth of information that is easy to understand. And it has sparked a desire in me to work toward stepping out of my comfort zone to interact with families in this way and capture those priceless moments and details for them. Love this breakout!

I thought I would take a moment to share how great this breakout with Danielle Thatcher is. I am transitioning to more lifestyle sessions as my business plan for next year. This breakout came at the perfect time for me. It is a favorite breakout of mine (and I have 75% of the ones offered here…I am a breakout junkie) and contains so much information. Danielle is the nicest person and is so generous with answering questions and helping guide the group. The breakout includes a PDF of how Danielle approaches her sessions including light, composition, troubleshooting, etc. Videos on real sessions and finding light in her home are also included. Finally, she has videos of how she edits in LR. I almost forgot she also touches on newborn lifestyle! This breakout has been a needed answer for me and I couldn’t enjoy it more!

This is such a fantastic breakout! Even if you aren’t doing lifestyle sessions with clients, this is a great way to learn how to better photograph your own family! I had high expectations for this and they have been exceeded. This is a must-buy breakout!

This is hands down one of the best breakout session I’ve taken. Wealth of information for the photographer who is wanting to embrace Lifestyle Photography. I’ve read the material twice now. Lots of aha moments!

Welp, there goes my day! I CANNOT peel myself away from this breakaway! Danielle is so very gifted and has a passion for teaching that comes thru in her breakout. I love how she really gets to know her clients and wants to really tell their story. As a client of hers I have felt this sense of sincerity in her work first hand. If you are looking to really connect with your clients and produce genuine storytelling photos that they will cherish forever then this is the breakout for you. Myself, being a hobbyist and wanting to sharpen my skills for capturing my own children, one of my take-aways from this was to switch up the angles. In the videos I can really see how changing the angles (without moving your subject) can produce completely different results. Time to get out of my comfort zone and be creative. Thank You! Thank You Danielle!

This has to be the BEST breakout session that I have ever taken at Clickin Moms. I am blown away by the amount and quality of information and inspiration Danielle has offered. Do NOT pass this one up!! Especially nice are the videos of her actually doing a session. I don’t usually print off the PDF but this one is a keeper, for sure. I love the idea cards she has included, too. Danielle, you have done a great job and offered us so much. Thank you!

RUN to this breakout ladies! I have known Danielle and admired her work for YEARS, and am so excited to get this opportunity to get inside her head! I’ve already gone through several parts of the material and I am in awe of how much amazing content she has provided! It is so so much fun to actually watch a live shoot! The tour of her house and Candice’s is invaluable! Nothing like that real-life, concrete helpful information! Such a neat opportunity to watch her shoot and hear her explain the details of the light in her house. Nothing has made window light so helpful for me. There’s so much more that I haven’t explored yet and I’m so excited to continue working through it this week (if only my printer wasn’t so SLOOOOOLY printing my PDF! Lol) Like I said, RUN to this breakout!
