4 WEEK WORKSHOP BEGINS JUNE 25
$300 Full Participation | $150 Study Along
Build your photography business through internet marketing and use your website as a 24/7 online salesperson.
This advanced level 4 week program focuses on building your photography business through internet marketing, using your website as your 24/7 online salesperson. Each FP student receives a personalized video analysis detailing the effectiveness and “user ability” of their existing website. Be prepared and comfortable making suggested improvements to the overall design of your current website. We discuss in detail the layout and content for your website pages and blog posts. You receive a complete online portfolio review with suggestions on how to improve your images, editing tutorials, and the best order to display photos that will capture the attention of a potential client. You learn content for SEO, how to keep up with blogging and maintaining/updating your portfolio. We discuss how to engage new clients and create a client welcome guide. You learn how to respond to emails and use reply templates that streamline your communication. Finally, we break down SEM, SEO and PPC. You learn an overview of site statistics, social media, SEO tactics and how to create a Google Adwords campaign. This course is ideal for any photographer looking to improve your current website, boost your online presence and generate new leads from your target market.
Photographers need to feel established in their style and have confidence in their portfolio. There will be additional expenses (outside of the CM tuition) related to creating a client welcome guide IF you decide to purchase a template. PS, PSE or PowerPoint (Microsoft Office or MS Office for Mac) is required to design your own template. Plan to set aside a minimum of $4 per day for your Adwords Program.

how it works
download weekly lessons
Each week, students receive a set of course materials, which generally include a PDF and instructional videos. All course materials are yours to download and keep.
Your workshop registration includes access to a private online forum for sharing and discussion. The classroom forum is open 24 hours a day so that you can learn and join discussions on your own schedule.
study & ask questions
Study on your own time, and check in on the classroom forum for interactive learning. The instructor is present in the forum every day to answer questions and offer encouragement.
complete weekly assignments
Students receive an assignment to complete each week that pertains to the topics covered in the course materials and builds upon class discussion throughout the week.
Full Participation students engage in an interactive online classroom experience that includes instructor-led group discussions and detailed, personalized guidance for the duration of the workshop. Full participation students post their assignments in the forum and receive critique each week.
Study Along students have access to all materials and are able to view all content and conversation in the main workshop forum. They also receive access to their own private Study Along subforum for peer study groups and image shares. Study along students will not be able to ask the instructor questions or request instructor feedback on their assignments, but they can follow along with instructor critiques of the Full Participation assignments.
