I love children. I could probably even say I am obsessed with them (and the entire family dynamic.) I am a hopeless romantic. I see in light and color. I love big and dream huge. It's likely why we up and moved to Colorado a handful of years or so ago sight unseen and didn't bat an eye. I am enamored by motherhood. Being a Mama of seven sweet souls, there is simply no way I could be anything other. I am an introverted people person, have a love/hate relationship with small talk, drink way more coffee than is likely okay and am obsessed with my high school sweetheart. I thrive on chaos and above all strive to be a good human.
This family session is close to my heart because I had the privilege of photographing this Mama in the same setting before they welcomed their sweet boy, and was able to watch their family grow and meet their babe shortly after he was born. One of the greatest honors of being a professional photographer is being on this wild journey with the families I work with and getting to be part of their tribe.
