Thanks to Lisa, I have a b/w conversion method that I love! I wasn’t sure I’d ever say that, and now my b/w images are the ones I am most proud of! She also teaches all kinds of other useful tips and tricks! You won’t regret taking this class!
I LOVED this class. I wish I could pick Lisa’s brain on a weekly basis! I was blown away with how much she knows and how much I learned from her. Lisa not only taught us a ton, but she also created videos to help some of us work through problems that we were having or to show us alternative ways to get to the desired result. We were given lots of examples with the lessons and fantastic feedback on our work by both Lisa and Monica. I hope Lisa teaches more Photoshop classes in the future!
This is one of my favorite classes. Lisa is always there and she will stay with you till you understand what you are doing and comfortable with it too! The videos are excellent and very detailed. The feedback is awesome. Best part? Now I have AWESOME B&Ws!!!! Thanks Lisa!
After taking Lisa’s PS101 class first and learning the basics, I knew I absolutely had to take PS201. No question about it. It was even more amazing than I had imagined. I learned so much it was CRAZY! I don’t have to rely on actions for anything. I know how to achieve the look I want without them now! I absolutely loved the lesson on how to create an amazing black and white conversion! I feel so much more confident now in my post-processing skills. I truly believe it took my craft to the next level. Keep rocking it, Lisa! If there will ever be a PS301 in the future….you know I’m there!!!
Photoshop 201 is an amazing workshop! Lisa is a fabulous instructor, and with her guidance, processing in Photoshop finally clicked for me! I recommend this workshop for anyone who wants to take their photo processing to the next level. Even if you think you know Photoshop, Lisa’s lessons and tutorials will help you find your creative focus. This course is a winner – Thank you, Lisa!!!
Taking PS201 was great learning experience. Lisa is a wonderful teacher. I was able to learn great new B&W techniques.
Loved every minute of Photoshop 201!! Thank you Lisa for being such an awesome teacher and can’t express how much I’ve learned and grown from both of them. I think I utilize all of your little tips and tricks in every image. I can’t think of which week was my favorite…but absolutely loved the color & bw weeks! Your classes definitely helped me grasp Kristin’s Creative Processing class…which I also loved, loved, loved! Thanks again Lisa!!
Before taking PS201 I understood the basics of photoshop (layers, masking, etc). This class took me a step further and taught me how to put a creative edge on my photos without going too far. I learned how to make black and white photos without having a muddy look. My black and whites now have creamy skin and multiple tones. I use my new skills everyday in my processing!! I would highly recommend this class if you want to dig further into photoshop and have more control over your processing and creative vision!!
Lisa is AMAZING! I can’t say enough about her. I took PS101 and loved it too, but this one just added the extra boost that I needed for all my photos. There is so much information that came with the class, but it was all understandable, just took some time. If you had any questions, Lisa was always there to clarify as much as you needed so that you WOULD get it, no matter how much help you needed. Megan and Monica were also a great help with their CC’s! I wish there was a PS301 because I’ll miss these ladies and all their awesome help :)
I just finished PS 201 and can’t rave enough about this class!! I had taken PS 101 with Lisa and felt I had a handle on the basics but really wanted to take my editing up a notch. This was the prefect class! I was blown away by the amount of information Lisa shared, her clear explanations and thoughtful critiques of our assignments. Every step of the way she encouraged us to explore our own vision and style and give us the tools and techniques to achieve them in PS. She patiently answered all our questions and even made personal videos for us when we got stuck. This is truly a class to add to your list!!
This class was excellent. I took it mainly because I couldn’t crank out a decent black and white of my daughter, no matter what I did. Over the class’s four weeks, I learned how to do that and more! Lisa’s tutorials and videos were really helpful and well thought out. Her CC was helpful too. And, to my great surprise, she provided personalized videos to share her suggestions for improvement. That was immensely helpful for me. Taking this class will be money well spent!
I have joined CM forum just a few months ago and was itching to join CMU. I have come to really love it here as well as the lessons. I’ve joined PS201 thinking I’m more than a beginner but less to intermediate skill….I’m too overwhelmed with PS201 and even says to Lisa “she keeps on breaking my head with the information she feeds”… I decided I should take PS101 with Lisa (along with PS201) to refresh some skills and honestly.. knowledge is leaps and bounds!!
Lisa, thank you for the time and care to walk us through every step of the lessons. You really are an open book an all out support on your students.
For the guest instructors, thank you too. It has been amazing with you guys all the way answering the post processing workflows and even some business aspect.
Now, I earned my badge. I am so glad to chose to invest in this experience and particularly the one on one aspect of it. All the hardwork from a month lessons and assignments, my next step now is…. Shooting 201, here I come!
I just completed PS201 and am thrilled… it completely surpassed my expectations!! I really can’t imagine a better Photoshop course at this level… Lisa has put together an amazingly well-thought-out, thorough class. Her materials (videos, PDFs, etc.) are excellent, and she even made numerous extra videos throughout the course in the process of CCing assignments. Her feedback was super thoughtful and educational, as were the CCs from Monica and Megan!!
I can honestly say that every question I’ve ever had about Photoshop to date was answered during this workshop… most of them I didn’t even need to ask, because they were covered in the course content, but Lisa was always very responsive and prompt about answering questions.
If you feel like you have a good grasp on the very basics of Photoshop and want to go the next level, take this class!!
This class completely exceeded my expectations. I love the approach Lisa takes to teaching — providing materials for every learning style. Every lesson was presented in written form and in video form. The videos covered the nuts and bolts of the lesson, then put them to action. By providing downloads of the photos she’s using in her lesson videos, Lisa gives students an easy way to follow along. So, if you learn by reading, watching or doing, this class will cater to your best learning style.
Constructive criticism of images was thorough and very helpful. Instead of just telling students what they could do better/differently, Lisa often provides videos to SHOW students how to do things better/differently. I learned almost as much from watching these videos (mine and those for other students) as I learned from the very thorough material Lisa presented.
The 20 lessons included in this four week class dramatically increased my knowledge of Photoshop and moved my photos from hmmm to WOW!
I just love Lisa and this class. It was so full of information and techniques. She is so detailed in explaining how to use the tools in Photoshop and makes it all look so easy. She takes the time to work with you as an individual and she opens your eyes to processing. I am so thrilled I had the opportunity to take her class. This is a fantastic class.
This class was GREAT! I took it after taking PS101. I loved both classes. Lisa is a fantastic instructor and feedback from her and 2 other mentors were so helpful. This class is full of useful information and I just enjoyed all of it. Not I only learned various processing skills, but I started to see colors better. Learning how to convert an image to a B&W was something I loved, too.
It was definitely worth the cost.
This class was amazing! I look it immediately after doing the SA version of PS101. The 1-on-1 attention definitely makes this class a value. Lisa is an articulate and patient instructor who really knows her stuff! The mentors were great in providing CC. I wanted to vastly improve my knowledge of PS in a short period of time, and this class did just that! The B&W processing lessons were particularly exciting and took the mystery of this type of processing away.
I cannot say enough about Lisa and this class – I don’t even know where to begin! I took PS 101 as a study along and immediately followed up with 201 in full participation. In 101, lightbulbs started going off in my head and they continued throughout 201. She taught us about soooo many things and I approach my camera differently because of this class. Lisa made it so apparent how important exposure and white balance are to editing and those items alone have tremendously effected my editing time AND quality. My SOOC images have improved 100% because of the info she shared with us, and my knowledge of photoshop is more than I ever hoped for. If an issue that came up during class that was hard to explain she had no hesitation in making us a video showing us exactly what she was talking about. If you are willing to go through everyone else’s assignments and feedback I have no doubt that you will learn as much as you possibly want about photoshop. Lisa and the TAs were quick to explain any creative editing technique and show us exactly how to do it with our own pictures. If you haven’t taken this class – don’t hesitate! Your SOOC images and your edits will thank you!
Lisa is an exceptional instructor. She simplifies complicated concepts and presents the information in pdf and video format for all types of learners. PS101 and PS201 are invaluable classes!
I am so glad that I took this class! I took the PS 101 as a study along, but the full participation in this class really helped me put a lot of things together from the first class. There is so much information in this class- and it is presented in a very organized fashion. Lisa does a wonderful job explaining things and is always there to answer your questions and look at your photos… no matter how many times you work at it. I would definitely recommended this class to anyone trying to learn photoshop and improve your processing skills. This class made such a big difference in my images. Thanks Lisa!
If you are looking to take your processing to the next level, then you won’t want to pass up a spot in PS201. This class covers blend modes, color pops, retouching, black and white conversions and more. It is a well organized workshop full of material that will help you fine tune your editing skills so that you can take a good photo and turn it into a great photo. I also can’t say enough about Lisa’s teaching style. She has a knack for providing straightforward critique in a positive and encouraging way. This class really helped me fill in the gaps that were preventing me from processing to the best of my ability. I now have the knowledge and skills I need to process my images to the fullest! Many thanks to Lisa and her wonderful team of teaching assistants.
PS 201 is my first class through Clickin Moms. Lisa is a wonderful teacher! She presents information in context and in a way that is easy to understand. She is a really positive and supportive person who gives a lot of positive feedback in addition to many useful suggestions in applying what is learned during the workshop. I cannot believe how much I learned about Photoshop in one month! This was a really fun experience. I will miss the class now that it is over, but I am excited to use all of the new skills I learned!
I have taken both of Lisa’s PS 101 and 201 workshops. They are both filled with different and very valuable information and videos. Lisa is an excellent teacher. At one time, she even made a video to explain her answer to my question. I was new to Photoshop and now I thoroughly enjoy the ability to process my photos to “match” what I had envisioned. I also really enjoyed the other class participants, and I learned a lot from them, as well. Now I want to take every class offered here on Clickin Moms. They are really that good!
I took PS 201 right on the heels of PS 101. I had never even opened PS prior to the workshops because I was so intimidated. I cannot believe what I am now capable of accomplishing in post-processing after 8 weeks with Lisa. She provides so much information, but it is organized and structured and the lessons build upon each other. She is always quick to answer questions and the constructive criticism is invaluable. My images have absolutely improved and I am becoming more efficient. I loved these classes and highly recommend them.
