Let’s create a customized self-hosted, Prophoto 4 theme based WordPress site you can use either for business or personal photography journeys. This class was amazing. Seriously, Courtney is awesome – I don’t know how she did it, but she managed to help me – a creative brain but not a technical one – get a website I love. It is definitely a process, though. You will work HARD in this class, so make sure you have time to put the work in! Cause it is so sweet once you reach the finish line.

I will say one thing – I would NOT take this class unless I was doing full participation. With this class, there are so many technical issues that can happen (and they all seemed to happen with me), and being able to ask Courtney for help was incredible. She was always willing to go above and beyond for me (and I’m sure everyone in the class), and multiple times helped get into the back-end of my site to correct issues herself. I really could not thank her enough for being such a giver of information and help during the process.

If you want a new website and want someone to hold your hand, give you great feedback, and go above and beyond, I have one last thing to say:

    Take this class!

Thank you Courtney (and all the other helpers!) for your hard work, your consistency, your feedback and your advice. You are amazing!!!

I began this workshop from scratch. I had absolutely nothing and left with a full functioning custom blog site! This is a very time intensive workshop that lasts about 6 weeks, so before you decide to take it, make sure you have the time. Courtney was awesome, without her I would not have had a blog site. Not only does she give you pdf’s to read over, she also holds office hours to do Q&A sessions and to walk you through how to do things. She answers all your questions no matter how easy or hard and gets back to you fairly quickly although she works full time, photography part time, and has 3 kids. She is a super woman!

Seriously, thank you so much Courtney for teaching this workshop and helping us all through all the pain and tears some of us had. I can say I left this workshop happy with my blog site and I could not have done it without you! Thank you!!!!!

I started this class with a Flash website and a Prophoto blog and I ended the class with two amazing websites, a BETTER blog and an improved client site! I was on the fence about taking the class, but when I started having issues with bludomain’s new HTML site I purchased (and then their terrible customer service) I knew I had to make the switch to self-hosted ProPhoto sites. I originally wanted to do the study along, but it was full so I had to do the full participation- and boy am I glad I did! There is a lot of information given and it was fast and furious at times, so having other people to get answers to my questions was awesome. Since I had previous experience with ProPhoto, it was fairly easy to navigate my way through the assignments, however I would highly recommend that if you don’t have ProPhoto experience that you do take the full participation. The feedback and CC from the TA’s, fellow classmates, and Courtne, too.

I really liked the look of my Flash site, but now have a Flash-free website that looks like it’s Flash! My iPad/iPhone clients and prospective customers can view all of my websites without issue and I can control every aspect of them- and on the backend as well :)

I just finished this workshop with Courtney. WOW is all I can say. I was really struggling with a vision for my brand and my site. This course really helped me organize my thoughts and come out with site and brand that I am really proud of. Without Courtney, the other teaching assistants, and my fellow classmates, I could have never done this site on my own! I won’t lie, it is a tough course and very, very time intensive. But it is worth every single late night I spent working! And now I know how to do it myself when I want to make changes.

I just finished up Courtney’s workshop as a study along, and can I just say WOW!!!! I had no idea the amount of information and knowledge that would be poured into me during these last 5 weeks. This workshop will challenge you and push you in such an amazing way. I started this workshop without any knowledge of prophoto or wordpress, I didn’t even have a current blog or website, and now I have a blogsite that I am proud of thanks to Courtney’s workshop.

Courtney’s lessons and PDF’s are detailed and well written, easy to read, and filled with more information than I ever thought my brain was capable of processing. She starts you off at square one, leads you on a very organized path of envisioning & developing your style, and carries you through to the very end of having a solid foundation of using prophoto/wordpress to have a site you’ll be proud of.

My biggest regret is the fact that I took this as a study along. The CC posted from Courtney, the TA’s, and fellow classmates for the full participation is worth the extra money…do it!!! And don’t think twice, take this as FULL participation.

This workshop was amazing!!! Thank you Courtney!

I was a part of Courntney’s rookie crew. I can’t even express how much I needed this workshop. Prior to this class it would take me hours just to do one simple task in Prophoto and it never yielded the results I was looking for. I was confused as to what I even wanted my blogsite to look like. Then came this powerful guiding light named Courtney, who spelled out everything in simple terms and I was able to really achieve the style and look that represented my brand.

By completing the assignments, I was able to come up with a color scheme, fonts, and flow that I was looking for. Courtney will guide you in achieving exactly what you want!

I am not a tech savvy person but by taking this workshop I have gained the confidence to craft a professional ProPhoto WordPress blogsite that I am proud of.

I’m just finishing up the workshop with Courtney this week! It’s been a very fun and exciting last 5 weeks! I wanted to make note on certain things that are important to me when I take a workshop!

•I’m a very scatterbrained person, so I NEED organization and things spelled out clearly for me. Courtney’s lessons are very well put together, she gives step by step instructions on each lesson, and the open forum for questions she & the assistants are quick to respond and help.

•I really learn best from my mistakes, I like CC because it helps me grow. Courtney is great in showing you what you can do different to achieve something better, tells you why it’s better, and gives clear instruction on how make it happen. She doesn’t sugar coat or rough you up, she only gives real, honest instruction and help. I think that is part of her personality though ;)

I’ve had ProPhoto for about 2 years now, I felt pretty confident in finding my way around it and the many customizations it offers for creating your site. I mean really, I could spend hours tweaking and playing! I had no idea all the goodies and important details I was missing out on! Also how customize things like social icons, and creating grids for my galleries, I really took the long way around it before. Now I know how to accomplish ALL the little details and not spend a week (or two!) sitting at the computer pulling my hair out.

Thank you so much Courtney & everyone who assisted! I’m so glad I could talk my hubby into saying yes to charging this course :D Well worth it!
