Amii Wroblewski
Amii Wroblewski is a photographer based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area (Central Time). She specializes in high school senior girls, utilizing available natural light and works on-location. Amii shoots with a Canon 5D Mark II and usually pairs it with either her 50mm 1.4 or 85mm 1.4. She does her basic clean edits in ACR and also uses CS3 for further editing/cleaning up of any images. Amii strives to give her clients a high-end, boutique experience which involves lots of in-person interactions, such as consultations, ordering sessions, etc. The business side of owning a photography business is as equally thrilling to her as the photography itself. Let me just say, this was the best $$$ I have spent on my business so far! I can not believe how much info she shared with me in such a short amount of time. My goal was to focus on my pricing and to build some coherent collections. Prior to our session, Amii had me answer a list of questions about my business and pricing so she could hit the ground running as soon as we started our time. Which is exactly what she did!
She had so much insight into how I should be pricing myself. She made me put numbers to a variety of things (annual expenses, COGS, taxes) so I had a truly accurate idea of what I needed to make per session to pay myself a real salary and turn a profit. She also brainstormed with me on how to build my business through some strategic marketing and how to create my collections. She even gave me some pointers about my portfolio on my website. WOW!!!! Truly, my hand ached from all the notes I took and I am so excited to implement her suggestions, every last one of them!
I would highly recommend a mentorship with her; it was an incredible value! And, I have to add, I believe that is true of all the mentors here. This was one of the best investments I have made in my business. I bet Amii saved me 6 months, or more, of mistakes!!

Pricing seems to be difficult for everyone … Amii breaks it down to its basics and helps you understand the how and why of pricing without just pulling numbers out of the air. She is also amazingly generous with her time and knowledge and really gives you the feeling that she wants you to succeed.
