Apply to CMpro

CMpro membership is by application only. A review board evaluates all applications and collectively decides whether to admit photographers to CMpro.

PORTFOLIO. Portfolio must include a minimum of 50 images.

  • If a website is used, the review board will evaluate all public images, include splash page, galleries, etc.
  • If a blog is used, the review board will evaluate the first 3-4 pages and/or most recent 3-6 months to evaluate the consistency of the photographer.
  • If the photographer does not maintain an online web presence, she may submit an alternate portfolio via an online gallery service (Flickr, Smugmug, Zenfolio, etc).

Mastery of Exposure, Shutter Speed, Aperture, Focus (5 pts):

Compositional Basics (5 pts):
Processing Cohesion and Polish (5 pts):
Creativity, Impact, and Personal Artistic Vision (5 pts):

In order to be admitted to CMpro, applicant must receive a score of 25 or better (out of 30) on the portfolio evaluation rubric.

Application Fee

Prospective members pay $50 per application. You will receive notification of acceptance or denial within 2 weeks and will receive brief feedback if your application is denied. You may only apply once every 90 days.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are $100 per year ($50/year for CM lifetime members). This includes membership to our regular CM forums, so you can cancel your other subscription.
