What is Click Away?

Click Away is an inspirational three day, on-location shooting, learning, and social conference for photographers. The event is designed both to nurture learning and growth, as well as to foster personal connections.

How is it different?

Click Away provides an intimate, hands-on experience that emphasizes individual learning tracks, experiential education, outdoor natural light shooting with models, and off-site excursions in and around beautiful San Antonio.

VOICE Gallery Night will again feature a red carpet photo wall and prize giveaways from Clickin Moms and our Click Away sponsors. Semiformal or formalwear is suggested. In addition to VOICE Gallery Night, we will further celebrate VOICE by putting the entire 2015 VOICE Collection on display throughout the Click Away space at the Marriott Rivercenter. The purpose of VOICE is to recognize and celebrate images that encapsulate the spirit of this special collection – vision, originality, inspiration, creativity and overall excellence. The 2015 VOICE collection will feature 12 categories: Beautiful Light, Composition and Design, Connection, Daily Life, Details, Happiness, Human Face, Newness, Rule Breaker, Self Portrait, Still Life, and Street. Boutique – Instructor-led Golden Hour Shooting Experience

From 5:30-7:30pm. What could be better than an opportunity to attend a boutique, instructor-led photo shoot during the evening golden hour in beautiful San Antonio? Every attendee will have an opportunity to select and attend one of 44 wonderful Boutique – Instructor-led Golden Hour Shooting Experiences on a wide range of topics, including lighting, posing, creativity, capturing children, and styled sessions. Each of these special Boutique Shooting Experiences will take place in and around San Antonio on Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 pm – the perfect timing to capture that stunning golden light. The majority of programs will include an opportunity to photograph models of various ages, including children, families, seniors and couples. Shooting Field Trips (Optional)

From 2:30-8:00pm. Sure to be one of the highlights of Click Away 2015, Saturday Shooting Field Trips will offer you the opportunity to get to know other attendees and explore and photograph scenic, picturesque and interesting locations in the San Antonio, Austin and Texas Hill Country areas. Chartered buses will transport a limited number of attendees to and from these hand-picked locations and some Shooting Field Trips will offer additional sightseeing and other experiential opportunities for participants. Sign-up details and pricing for specific Shooting Field Trips will be made available to all Click Away attendees as soon as they are finalized and special permits are secured. Locations for Shooting Field Trips may include downtown Austin, TX; Hill Country Wineries, San Antonio Missions; San Antonio Botanical Garden, San Antonio Japanese Tea (Sunken) Garden and local natural areas.  This program description will be updated as more details on locations are available. There will be an additional registration fee for Shooting Field Trips to offset the cost of busing and admission/permit fees.
