I have CS5 and I have been thinking about upgrading to CS6 but after seeing this video I have a question about the crop tool. I see that whenever you rotate the photo, the crop tool keeps all of the photo inside of the tool. What happens in situations where you want to crop but in order to avoid chopping fingers (or etc) you want to add space outside of the frame and then just clone it in after the crop? Is that possible? I do this a lot when cropping and I would hate not to be able to do so.

Hi Mayra. You can use the crop tool just as you did in CS5 by checking "delete cropped pixels". If you're talking about dragging the crop outside of the photo to make the canvas bigger, you can still do that :)

I don't have CS6 (or any version of ps), I use lightroom and paintshop pro. But I learned something about LR! I didn't know about the crop overlay grids and the auto hide. Thank you! :)

Oh I knew I shouldn't have watched this about CS6…I keep telling myself I'm "fine" with CS5. But the overlays for crop is cool and I hear the blur filters in there are great….

Thanks Lisa for a great tutorial (and temptation!)

Don't have PS, but just realized that I can move part of an image (lowering a kite in the sky) in LR4 using the spot removal tool. Who would have thought?

Hi, There’s no doubt that your web site could be having internet browser compatibility issues. Whenever I look at your blog in Safari, it looks fine however, if opening in IE, it’s got some overlapping issues. I merely wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other than that, fantastic blog!
