You need two gray cards for the second week. You can print them on your home printer if you can trust the color or you can order them from smugmug for cost. How it works:
A lesson will be posted every week in a private forum here on clickinmoms.com. You will have a week to post your assignment. You do not need to be online at any specified time, you can read, view and download at your leisure.
Study-along members will have access to all materials and will be able to read the forum, see others’ assignments, but will not be able to post questions, conversation, or request critique on their assignments.

The course’s private forum opens on Monday, November 15. Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, the course will run for five weeks instead of four (there will still be only four lessons). The private workshop forum closes at the conclusion of the course.

THE BUZZ:
What an amazing experience this class has been for me. I showed my husband a few shots that I was trying to decide between and I said, “Oh, by the way, these are all SOOC!” He was amazed! Thank you to everyone for compliments and critiques and thank you, Lynne, for teaching us how to truly rock our cameras! –Leesa
I am never a one for a lost of words and when I sit down to write my last assignment I seem to choke up. This class has been SO amazing and I have learned beyond my expectations. Thank you so much to Lynne and everyone that help answer questions give feedback and just be there for support.
When I first started this class my confidence level in taking pictures were beyond low now I can say “wow, I took this pic!” That means so much to me and words will never express my thankfulness to you all. — Jamie
I knew that you had to adjust the three pieces to get perfect exposure, but I didn’t really understand how/why. But I think what I’m really most thankful for is the confidence you, Misti, Sarah, Ashley, and our classmates have helped to instill in me, Lynne. I was intimidated coming into class because fellow classmates seemed to be light years ahead of me knowledge-wise, and I learned that it was okay. Everyone embraced me and taught me just the same! I haven’t given much CC to others because I’m still learning so much myself (and was lacking confidence!), but I’ve been reading everything that everyone has written, and I’m trying to absorb it all. I also think that I’ll now be more comfortable to get “out there,” ask questions, give feedback, and use the wonderful resource that Clickin Moms is (before I was just a lurker, and was often overwhelmed with how much information there is here!). Finally, I understand that everyone has to start somewhere. I understand what I’m doing so much more and now have a starting point to continue my learning, and for that, I’m forever grateful to you all. For the last eight months, I would pick up my manual, read various photography books, search online, etc., and get overwhelmed, only to switch my dial back to auto for a month or two until I was ready to try again. No more of that for me! ! Thanks a million to all of you, and especially Lynne! The lesson PDFs have become my photography bible! – Catherine
Lynne, the pure number of posts you answer astounds me. And, most importantly, with such patience. I was annoying myself with some of my questions, but you just encourage us to keep at it! This is the first *marked* difference I can see in my pictures since I picked up my DSLR and I have WORKED hard taking classes and practicing before this. I can not believe the change in 4 weeks and you are such a big part of that.-Shannon
