1. 70-200 ƒ2.8 L IS version one
3. 16-35 ƒ2.8 L
4. 100 2.8 Macro (non-L)
5. 135 ƒ2.0 L
6. 85 ƒ1.2 L
7. 85 ƒ1.8

Main body: 5D MarkIII and 50 ƒ1.4
My first “good” lens and I still use it all the time. I think about upgrading to the 50L, but I’ve heard such mixed reviews that it scares me.

8. 580 EXII – I’m horrible with flash, but I usually break it out on Christmas Eve.
9. Extra lens caps galore because I have a habit of leaving them through my house, in my pocket, in my purse…
10. Lexar 8G cards, super fast cards.
11. Lens Pen – a must have for beach shooting.
12. My new Vello remote. Great for long distances.
13. Microfiber cloth. Probably not supposed to use this, but I do. It’s great for water spots after shooting near the pool, the bath tub, the lake, the beach, etc..

14. Canon 5D Mark II
15. Canon XTi

Kelly Moore 2 Sues bag. I adore this bag! It fits a ton of gear and it’s really comfortable to carry.
Where I work:
We built our house last year and I have to balance teaching and writing workshops with these five little people who call me Mom so I have two work-spaces in my home.
My downstairs desk is sandwiched in a little hallway between my kitchen and the mudroom. It’s a tiny space, but thanks to many hours of looking at Houzz.com, it’s super functional. I store my gear in there but also have sections for the kids’ school fundraising stuff, school paperwork, catalogs, and things I need to grab quickly on my way out of the house. Mom central, essentially. On my little green pin-board, you can see a black and white picture of my grandparents when they were about 20. It’s one of my greatest photographic inspirations and is what I want to capture when I take pictures.
This is also where I answer questions through the week when my kids are home or I’m cooking dinner. I have no pictures on this computer; it’s just for internet and kids work and projects.

Love notes from Jackson when he was 5.

It’s conveniently located by the garage door so I can grab the lenses I need and my camera bag and run out the door.
{{{holy lens distortion!!!}}}

My upstairs office is my haven. I have my 27 inch iMac, 3 EHDs and generally a huge cup of coffee. To the right is my kids playroom and to the left and downstairs is my husband’s office. This is where I do the big stuff; write workshops, make the videos for classes, CC assignments and work on my own images. There’s nothing on the walls yet, the shelves are bare…that’s on my list…along with a million other things. One day…

Lynne Rigby, Florida
CM Mentor | Workshop Instructor
Website | Blog | Pinterest | Mentoring | Ask a Pro
Lynne is a lifestyle photographer residing in Orlando, Florida with her husband and their 5 children. “Living in Florida” she says, “has shaped the way I shoot. I either had to learn to embrace the sun with my images or stay inside. I chose the former.” Her original goal was to take better pictures of her sons’ football games and get good Christmas card pictures but Lynne has presently joined her former career as a teacher with her passion for photography and is the instructor of several CM workshops including Shooting 101: The Best Darn Beginner Course Ever, Shooting 201: Beyond the Basics, Vision 301: Finding Your Style and Processing 101: Lightroom Start-to-Finish. Lynne can’t live without AdvantEdge Caramel protein shakes, Mellow Mushroom pizza, Tijuana Flats, and ice. She also loves the gym, shopping, the beach and hanging out with her beautiful kids. Her camera bag is loaded with the Canon 5d mark III, multiple prime lenses and the 70-200L.

Thanks for sharing Lynne! I see your large screen and think that is a good idea for me to get to process with (currently working on a itty bitty 13 inch laptop :) )

It is so great to see your space, Lynne! And so crazy about what you do with your hair when you think … I do the same thing! I barely even notice I’m doing it anymore!
Okay I am not joking at all- as I was reading this post I had grabbed a chunk of my hair, with my left hair and was holding in/on my mouth. I do this all the time and didn’t even realize I was doing this until I read your number 5!!
My sister had scoliosis and had to wear a back brace too. She ended up having a metal rod put in her back.
I would love the Mark iii- currently have the 5D but so want to upgrade.
LOVE my Kelly Moore bag! And your workspace is to die for. I appreciate your Canon gear notes.
