A Day In The Life with Celeste Jones
When I was asked to write about my own day in the life I thought…no one wants to see my day. I’m not that interesting. Okay, in my mind I am, but that’s in my mind ya know? My day in the life takes place on 12/21/12 and is a mixture of images captured with both my d700 and my iphone 4s.
Okay, so every morning this happens. I know I hit snooze about 3 times or more depending on how my night went. LOL
I’m always rushing to get myself ready and to make sure that my daughter is doing what she needs to do to prepare for school. That’s another job in and of itself, because she never has anything to wear and her hair never looks good. Her words not mine. She wouldn’t let me take pictures of her eating like the ones everyone else posted of their kid so just believe me when I say that she did eat breakfast.
This particular morning she needed something for the school party. So, we make a quick run to a corner store in the neighborhood.
Okay, so now I’m back on track. I walk her around the corner to school. Talk about convenience!
After that I walk to a local imaging lab around the corner from my house. Can you believe that? I dropped some film off and then walk to work.
If you follow me on instagram you’ve seen my images of people and sites around the city. I saw this older man walking his dog and had to grab a picture of him.
Oh, I always take pictures of this bush on my walk to work. I don’t know why probably because I like flowers.
Omg, I did all of that and made it to work on time to my daytime paralegal job. I’m showing off now. 😉
I probably should have did some cleaning before I took the pictures but if I had cleaned I wouldn’t be able to find anything.
I’m such a creature of habit. Everyday, I have to go and buy my coffee at the cafe downstairs. Sometimes I get a chocolate chip cookie. Okay, I get a chocolate chip cookie everyday.
Every Friday I go to Mikimotos for lunch. On this day I was on my way out to pick up my takeout order and found out that it was the same day as our holiday pizza party. I didn’t eat all of that food. I’m serious, but I did take it home.:)
I have a half day so I go and get my hair done at Bliss Elements. I love this place.
After that I have to run and get my girl so I can take her to get boxes for me and her dad’s gift. They didn’t have the right size boxes, and she’s upset because I’m taking pictures. She won’t look at me now. LOL
This really did happen. She was covering her face so that I couldn’t take anymore pictures and fell asleep that way.
And then it happened to me. I actually fell asleep with my phone in my hand.
