There’s no doubt that our CMpros are busy. They have families to care for, jobs to maintain, many have businesses to look after, and they all know how to take stunning photographs. Have you ever wondered what a day looks like for one of the CMpros? How do they manage their time? When do they get it all done? Today, CMpro Jen Foster is giving you a peek inside a day in her life!
a day in the life | jen foster
I’ve frequently done “day in the life” blog posts, but really this would be the first one that I actually did honestly just to document a plain old weekday, without any fancy setups, locations or flashy “real life” moments that rarely just happen on their own. This is just my life, unscripted.
The day starts in our house like most, animals screaming for food, coffee brewing (thank God for the hubby), the little one sneaking in for the iPad before I am fully awake. Today Miss Maybelline looks like she would rather stay in bed (I don’t blame her)
I wear a uniform to work, so my shoe selection is about the biggest fashion statement I can make. Z has just enough time for a quick chapter before I am nagging him 3 or 4 times to put on his shoes. Then I wonder why I get the sour face when asking to take his picture.
Then we are off to school, which happens to be one of the places we have a teeny glimpse of Fall colors (even though it ended up being 85 degrees later).
Next it’s my turn to get myself to the pet hospital I work for (everyone together, awwwwwwww!). Yes, I get to go to a job and (among lots of other things) see adorable faces all day.
This is pretty much how my workday looks- visits to the pups in the doggy hotel, checking in patients, lots of smiles and slobber. And a less than amused cat once in awhile (hey, they’re cats, it’s their job to look angstful).
And if that job didn’t make me lucky enough- I work across the street from both a Trader Joe’s AND a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf..yeah, don’t hate. LUNCHTIME!
Finally I get to punch out and I race home just to catch the sun falling behind the horizon.
My night consists of a quick workout, homework, a yummy junk food dinner (hey, football was on!), and a little editing before bed.
Well that’s a wrap- hopefully I didn’t bore anyone with my everyday day :-)
