a day in the life | allison jacobs

There’s no doubt that our CMpros are busy.  They have families to care for, jobs to maintain, many have businesses to look after, and they all know how to take stunning photographs.  Have you ever wondered what a day looks like for one of the CMpros?  How do they manage their time?  When do they get it all done?  You loved Sara’s ‘A Day In The Life’ post so much that we decided to make it a regular new series for you in which a couple CMpros per month will photograph their day and share it with you.  This month, Allison Jacobs is sharing a day in her life!

While I am usually working full time throughout the week, I took these Day in the Life images while we were on summer vacation visiting family and friends in Texas.  This doesn’t illustrate a typical day unless you consider we are always up for an adventure around here (that would be the chasing the squirrel part of this particular day).  This day included sleeping in until 8:00 am, running in the Texas heat (whew, forgot how hot it gets here), lunch with family, visiting with a macaw, watching my uncles catch a wild squirrel that got in the house, air conditioning at Starbucks, playing, and reading.  Well, at least those are the parts of the day I got photographed.  We also ate good food for dinner and played scrabble but those images didn’t make the cut!

[…]  This is a Day in the Life while visiting family in Texas.  It isn’t really a day in my typical life.  But, it was a challenge to shoot from the morning until days end with an effort to capture the little moments as well as the big ones.  This type of exercise would be helpful to repeat often but I don’t know that I will follow through on that challenge! It was also published on the Clickin Moms Blog.
