As Thanksgiving approaches, we at Clickin Moms are reflecting on how thankful we are for our members who make Clickin Moms such a fantastic community.
The always thoughtful Lisa Harrison, instructor of our Photoshop 101 workshop has generously donated a spot (normally $300!) in her next workshop to one lucky person for the next run of PS101. Registration will open for the next PS101 workshop next week so keep your eyes open for the announcement.
PS101 is designed for the photographer who is producing properly exposed photos straight out of the camera and wants to take their photos to the next level. At the end of this four week class you’ll be able to navigate your way around Photoshop, open your photo, read your histogram, adjust exposure, identify color casts, correct skintones, sharpen effectively and so much more……..with confidence!
What do you have to do to qualify to win? First off, you can repost the link to this giveaway on your personal blog, twitter or Facebook. Then come back and post your link and tell us WHY you need to win this spot! You can enter as many times as you have unique links to where you’ve blogged, tweeted or Facebooked about the giveaway. A winner will be chosen by random number generator. You have until midnight EST Monday November 22 to enter. The winner will be announced on the blog on Tuesday. PS101 Rave Reviews
“Lisa. I can’t even begin to tell you, how much you’ve helped me grow in this class..in just a small amount of time. Your expertise is evident and I truly grateful to you for introducing this forum to me and providing all the assistance you did… I don’t know how you ever got this all done. I am so excited to go and grab all my photo’s and start using what I’ve learned on them. Thanks Lisa.. I look forward to another class.”
“Lisa thank you so much for such an awesome workshop. I’ve learned so much this month and can’t wait to work on all my pics. Both you and Kristin have given me the confidence to actually share some of my photos with my family now! LOL, yes I was that afraid! I am still so amazed and extremely grateful at how much of yourself you give to us and this workshop!! I’ve loved how you’ve answered every question with such great detail and what can I say about your thorough videos, LOVE!!! Whew, thank you for being our superhero for a month!”
“Thank you Lisa! I’ve enjoyed this class so much! I’ve gone from being totally afraid of Photoshop to being able to make my photos look so much better. I’ll be on the lookout for PS201 in the new year. And as soon as I get a new 50mm, I’ll be signing up for RYC with Lynne. Thanks again, you are so encouraging and a really great teacher.”
“Thank you so much Lisa! This has been such an amazing experience and has helped me out more than you can imagine!!! I have much more confidence doing a clean process and can’t wait to apply what I have learned to my future editing sessions! Looking forward to PS201 and seeing everyone on the big board!”
“Lisa, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Now I feel like I can accomplish a nice clean edit without having to hide my deficiencies with actions. I still like my vivid color finder by MCP, but everything else I’m doing with curves and levels (yay me!)”
“Thanks for such a wonderful class! I can’t wait to have off work the week of Thanksgiving to go back through the videos again. I feel like I have learned so much & I love the way my new edits are starting to look! You are a wonderful teacher and I really appreciated all your encouragement this month!”
“I must say, it’s been a wonderful workshop. You have just been awesome! Thank you so much! PS comes really hard for me—I’m very S.L.O.W. in putting all of the pieces together. Thank you so much for patiently answering all my questions (and they were numerous!).”
“Lisa – you already know you rock the house, so I don’t have to tell you again… but it’s my pleasure to do so. Thanks for being great from day one and EVERYTHING you’ve done since. You’re efforts are tireless and you make being a PS Yoda Master look effortless. Thanks for not only being a great teacher, but for also being an inspiration.”
“I can’t thank you enough for the information I learned in this class! I know I have a long ways to go…but you gave me the tools to head me in the right direction. Thank you!”

“You will be astounded at the wealth of information and training this class provides through full participation or the study along option. Lisa’s teaching is clear, specific, visual and written, so regardless of your learning style, you’ll be successful.
“As a study-along student who was not new to PS, I was more than completely satisfied with the workshop and learned so much more than I expected.”
“I just finished the last run, and I really can’t brag on Lisa enough. She answered every.single.question I had (and believe me, they were NUMEROUS). She was on the forum daily with feedback, CC, and even personal videos to walk you step-by-step though an editing question. Just call her Yoda…..”
