Tracy Joy Glee Bag | Product Review

I was fortunate to have the chance to review this great new bag for Tracy. I have nothing but good things to say about it. It arrived just as I was running out the door to my daughter’s birthday party so I threw my 5DII with the 24-70L attached to it, in the bag, which, by the way, was a perfect fit. When I arrived at the birthday party one of my photographer friends was so enamored with the bag that she went home and ordered one the next day (true story). Back to the bag, it has padding inside so I felt like my gear was safe. The strap is adjustable so I can carry it on one shoulder or I can lengthen it to wear across my chest or move it around back. I can also remove the strap and carry it by the handle on the top as well. Zipper closure. I love it. It’s hip and trendy and can hold my lipstick, a credit card and my keys as well.

Alicia Caine Product Review | Easy as Pie and Pastry School Cookbooks

Alicia is one of our fabulous vendors at  Clickinmoms.

I had the pleasure of receiving all 3 of Alicia’s books. I was given a link to her download page, clicked on each book download link and voila! They were on my desktop in moments. Doesn’t get any easier than that. In the Easy as Pie Cookbook Alicia talks about setting up a legitimate business, figuring  out your target market and setting up a business plan. She talks about goal setting and believing in yourself and then goes on to talk about believing in yourself and your pricing and then gives many formulas for pricing yourself to be successful and profitable.  She covers collections, a la carte pricing, how to price your session fee and even talks about digital files. You’ll need your calculator, paper and a pencil for this one, plus,  an idea of what you want to sell.

In the Pastry School Cookbook you won’t need your calculator. It’s more of a “what to and how to”, now that you have your pricing set, kind of book. Alicia talks about marketing to your ideal market and weeding out the customers who aren’t and goes into greater detail about Easy As Pie strategies.

The Pastry School Bonus rocks! Alicia shares with us her own pricing, collections and her own schedule of how she makes it all work. I LOVE these books. I truly do. Alicia has a fun and honest approach to her business and offers amazing insight. Her books are in PDF format and are easy to read on your computer or just print them out and read them at your leisure, in bed, in front of the t.v. or in the carpool lane at school.

I believe these books will help both the photographer who is portfolio building as well as the one who is already established. Alicia really made me value my time and talent as an artist. I know once I implement her strategies it will allow me to work less, spend more time with my family while becoming profitable. So much to think about and so many ways for me to improve. I’m off to get busy revising my price list and creating some collections. Alicia, thank you! You’ve inspired me in so many ways.
