Hi ladies! Welcome to the clickinmoms blog! I’m Lisa Harrison and I will be the voice behind the blog. If you’re already a member of the clickinmoms community then you know who I am. For those who don’t know me, I am a SAHM to two and I am also a professional photographer. You can find my work here. I am one of the guides on the clickinmom forum, along with some other fabulous ladies, who you can check out here.

We are a community of women who have a passion for photography. Some of us are amateur photographers who just want to take better pictures of our family, some of us are hobbyists, and some of us are seasoned pros. We learn from each other and help each other. We have all types of cameras, but most of us are working on our skills with our DSLR’s. This is a safe place to share your photos and chat about photography. Our forums and galleries are closed to non-members. All members must register through the site and Paypal, which makes it a more secure place than some of the free photo sites. Our site features great and easy to understand tutorials, lessons and challenges. All of the contributions are from fellow members who are more than happy to help and give advice to one another. We host amazing photography vendors who offer us discounts and group buys on their products. They frequently donate prizes for our photography contests. Come on in, learn something, inspire, be inspired, and join the fun! If you aren’t hooked on photography now, you will be soon!

We are running a contest to find the “best of 2009″. Winner to be announced at a later date. Some of these women did not even own a DLSR a year ago. One of the things I love most about clickinmoms is watching people grow. In their confidence, their skills, their business, their love of photography. It’s amazing!
